GT4 Racing Championship

Friday night is GT4 Racing Championship night. Starting in March the Championship will run for 3 months. There are 12 driver places up for grabs on a first come basis. Please contact us as soon as possible to reserve your place. There will be 12 race nights in the Championship. On Race night there are two qualifying races with the first 3 places from each qualifying race going through to the main race. Points are then award for the 6 places in the main race. The qualifying races last for 10 laps, the main race is 15 laps. There is a £1 entry fee for each set of races.

Fastest Lap Challenge Snowball

The first Fastest Lap Challenge Snowball is to race round the El Capitan circuit in a time of 1:45:00 or less in a Subura Impreza. It is £1 per go. The initial prize is £20, each time someone has another go the prize fund is increased until someone wins the snowball.

You only have 3 laps per go to beat the time, no restarts are allowed. Your fastest lap attempt must be observed by a Videogame Appreciation Society staff member to be valid.

Halo Combat League

Saturday night is Halo Combat League night. Starting in March the Combat League will run for 3 months. The league consists of 4 Clans with a maximum of five members playing in each battle. Please contact us as soon as possible to register your clan for a place in the league. There will be 11 combat nights in the League. There will be four battles each night lasting 30 minutes each. A variety of different multiplayer modes and multiplayer levels will be used during the duration of the League. There is a £5 entry fee for each team per combat session.

1st Prize £100 HMV vouchers, 2nd Prize £50 HMV vouchers each, 3rd Prize 3 months Videogame Appreciation Society Membership each.

Pro Evo Football League

Thursday night is Pro Evo Football League night. Starting in March the Football League will run for 3 months. There are 12 Team places up for grabs on a first come basis. Please contact us as soon as possible to reserve your place. There will be 11 League nights with one home and away game each night. Each match will last 10 minutes. You can choose any team in the game or use a Master League team. We will be using PES5 for the first Football League. There is a £1 entry fee for each league session.

Soul Calibur 2 Knock-Out Tournament

We will hold our first Soul Calibur 2 Knock-out Tournament in the near future. 32 players are invited to take part, places will be given on a first come basis. Please contact us as soon as possible to reserve your place. Fights will be best of three, 3 minute bouts. You can choose any fighter for each bout, areas will be random. There is a £1 entry fee for the Knock-Out Tournament.

Time Crisis 3 Snowball

The Time Crisis 3 Snowball challenges the first player to complete the Arcade mode on Normal difficulty setting, using only one credit, with no continues. It is £1 per go. The initial prize is £20, each time someone has another go the prize fund is increased until someone wins the snowball.

A Videogame Appreciation Society staff member must observe your snowball attempt for it to be valid.
